I liked the workshop where they fired a Barbie doll out of a canon and I learnt that you can stop a fire by blowing it up. This takes the oxygen away from the fire and a fire can't burn without oxygen. Sam Taylor Wade

The presenter of Flash, Bang, Wallop put a shower head on a hose and poured flour on the shower head. Then lit a blow torch and blew through the hose so the flour rose and passed through the
flame creating a mushroom cloud. Harvey and Freddie.

In the launchpad we got to use scientific toys and I learnt that when you burn flash cotton it will burn really quickly. Oliver

We went into a separate room and had a talk about explosions. We learnt that to make an explosion you need fuel, oxygen and heat. Sophie and Elliott

There was a giant pendulum that hung down five floors from a thin piece of string and it could tell the time and show that the earth is still spinning. The pendulum was very heavy. Mattie and Andrew.
