Sport's week
Well done to all our children on sport's day and for taking part in all the activities. It was great to see so many smiling faces and enthusiastic performances.
Book Fair
Don't forget Book Fair ends next Monday.
Yetminster Fair
Tomorrow (Saturday) is the Yetminster Fair - loads to do for all the family, including the dog show from 2 o'clock. Hope to see you there.
The Year 6's are holding a stall on the high street opposite the White Hart near Mr and Mrs Spark's house. Miss Coysh and Mrs Neate-Clegg and Y6 children will be there, selling tie-die T-shirts and terracotta herb stakes for the garden. All money raised is towards the Y6 leavers' book. Thankyou for your support.
Swimming Pool Update Meeting - Wednesday 11 July from 8.45am
Come along and have a coffee with us and we'll give you an update on the swimming pool. Due to the positive responses we've had to rejuvenating the swimming pool, we think the best thing to do is to have a dedicated Swimming Pool Committee. If you'd like to volunteer to be on the committee or just to be involved and updated, come along on Wednesday morning. Hope to see you there.
Year 6 show
Next week is the Year 6 show Roald Dahl's Little Red Riding Hood. Performances will be at 1.30pm and 6.30pm on Tuesday. Could the children please come to school for 6pm on Tuesday to get ready for the evening performance.
Swimming gala
Next Thursday is the annual Sherborne Schools' Swimming Gala held in Sherborne after school from 4 till 6pm. If your child has been selected could we please ask for parent volunteers to help organise transport for our team. Please liaise with Sandra McVeigh in the office. Thankyou for your help.
New dates
Please check the date list below. The Year 6 show (Roald Dahl's Little Red Riding Hood) has been rescheduled for the 12th of July, afternoon and evening. Apologies if this has inconvenienced anyone.
Hot school meals
Our hot school meals continue to be a roaring success - if you would like them they cost £2.15 daily. You can buy as many or as few as you want. Please book through the office.
School uniform sale
Remember - you are able to buy items of school uniform outside of sale dates - please ask at the office.
Remember - we have fantastic early morning breakfast provision!
Angela Hole and Daphne Blakey run our welcoming and fun Breakfast Club. The price is £3 for care after 7.30am up to school opening at 8.30am, £3.50 includes breakfast. Ring school on 01935 872430 or ask Sandra or myself in the office. Also, if you are unable to book, don't worry - you can bring your child to Breakfast Club with no notice if required. Look forward to seeing you.
