NewStAnd 22nd Sepember 2017Dear Parents, Carers and Community
Another busy week. I would like to thank Cher Baker for organising this and everyone who supported the Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday. Cancer unfortunately affects far too many lives of people we know and love. Every penny towards this disease is a step closer to beating it. Thank you for all the cake donations, I particularly enjoyed the eccles cakes, a memory from my own childhood! It is heartwarming to see community kindness. On a similar note, we have a remarkable young man in our midst.
Charlie Elford has come first in the 'Young Person of the Year Award', having been nominated for his contribution towards raising money for beating cancer. Well done Charlie!
The Headteacher advertisement is out. You can find it on the 'Dorset for You' website. We will keep you posted on further developments.
We have a new and exciting Art and Music Cabin housed in the old pre-school building. Amy and Adrian are offering music and art clubs for children. We are delighted to welcome them to the St. Andrew's site and wish them well.
Parent Consultation evenings will be held on Thursday 12 October and Tuesday 17 October - Details to follow
We will have a Harvest Festival Service at church on Friday 13 October. Children can bring in non-perishable food donations eg tins and packets. We will donate these to The Lord's Larder. As usual you are all welcome.

Have a great weekend
