1st April 2010

Dear Parents,

Statement from Governors:

It is with great pleasure that we can announce the appointment of Mr Paul Miller as the new Head Teacher of St Andrew's School from September 2010.
Paul brings with him a real passion and enthusiasm for education that will continue to motivate and inspire both pupils and staff in the school.
We welcome him to the St Andrew's community and to Dorset as he and his family re-locate from Lancashire.

It was with regret that we accepted Stephen Williams' decision to retire as Head Teacher after 16 years at St Andrew's.
We would like to thank him for the outstanding commitment and dedication that he has shown to all the children and staff in that time. He has always ensured that the quality of education remained high, providing many creative opportunities, whilst encouraging a deep respect in the children for themselves and others. The firm foundations developed in the school will leave a legacy from which the school will continue to grow and progress.
We wish him well in his new endeavours and feel sure that many new and exciting career opportunities await.

To all the children, parents, staff and governors of St Andrews Cof E Primary School,
"I so enjoyed meeting you last week and was impressed by the warm welcome and friendliness shown by everyone. I am very excited to think that I will be with you in September. I hope you all have a good summer term and holiday."
Paul Miller

Please use the website regularly as it has back copies of newsletters and other important information and details of your child's life in school.
We aim to increasingly use the site to strengthen communication with you and to provide the community with a broad and comprehensive view of its school. The news letter will be uploaded to the site on the last Friday of each month.
