Chair of Governors' Letter to Parents, November 2011

Dear Parents

You will soon be attending one of the Parents' Evenings at school on either November 17th or November 22nd. This is an important time for you to learn about how your children have worked so far this year and to discuss their targets for the future.

As last year, we will be distributing the Governors' Questionnaire for Parents on those two evenings, which helps to make us aware of your thoughts about different aspects of school life.

We have revised the format and some of the content of this document this year, which we hope will make it quicker and easier to complete.

We do appreciate your views and intend to feed back the results in some detail as we did last year through the school's website, so that we are all aware of things that are going well and also matters which need further thought. We aim to get the response back to you at the latest by February 10th, before the half term holiday.

It would be very helpful if you could complete the questionnaire on the Parents' Evening itself. However, if you want to take it home, please return it to the school office by Friday 25th November.

Of course, if there is any matter about the school that you wish to discuss with me at any time, please leave a message with Mr Miller or the school office.
