School Council Minutes Sepember 09School Council MinutesFriday 18th September 2009 Present Willow: Matt and Ollie Chestnut: Rhys and Caitlin Ash: Nathaniel and Josie Holly: Harrison and Jemma Oak: Eve and Jim Class Oak's Idea • Pets day once a year. A Fayre on the field with our pets and we could show them. • It would be after school and if you didn't want to go you wouldn't have to. • Each class would be able to show their pets and talk about them. • The pets could fight or somebody could even get bitten and if that happened the school would be in a lot of trouble. • Probably not possible. Class Chestnut's Idea • Gold coloured dustpan and brush. • The cleaners decide which class is the tidiest and that class gets to keep it for a week. • Could encourage people to tidy up more often. • You couldn't have cheating and there would have to be very structured rules. • Could be pointless because you should clear up anyway. • Over all it is a very good idea and it should and will happen. Class Ash's Idea • Class ash want hot dinners for school. • You could pay monthly or weekly by debit or credit card. • Letters would go out weekly so you could say which days you are having hot dinners. • There will also be a letter about allergies. • It probably will happen much later this year. Class Willow's Idea • School lockers, Key Stage 2 only. • It would cost too much, there would not be enough space and if you put a wet coat in there your entire bag would get wet. • It wouldn't be any more secure than a peg because it wouldn't be lockable. • It couldn't be lockable because if you lost your key, you wouldn't be able to lock it or to open it. • Not going to happen. |
