New Chairperson for PTA needed

To all Parents
The PTA's Annual General Meeting will be held on 19th October at 7.30 in the School Hall. Nibbles and wine will be available.
I feel it is time for me to step down as Chairperson. Having held this position for the past 2 years, I figure someone else may like a turn? The role of Chair is challenging but with a great team of helpers it has proved to be extremely rewarding and quite exciting at times!!!
After many years of sterling service, our Treasurer, Caroline Hart, will also be standing down this year, therefore we are looking to appoint a new treasurer to fill this important role.
So, if you have a head for figures or have organizational skills and would like to take on either of these fulfilling positions and be involved with this great group of friendly parents, please come along and have a chat with me or join us at our AGM to put yourself forward for either Chairperson or Treasurer.
I can be contacted on 01935 873379 or by email:- eastlands12@yahoo.com
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the support that they have given me over the past 2 years and look forward to seeing the PTA grow ever stronger over the coming years.
For more information about the PTA please visit the schools website and go to the PTA links.

(Chairperson)

Our first PTA coffee morning a great success

All those who came along to our first coffee morning greatly enjoyed the chance to welcome new mums and to have the chance of a chat over a cup of coffee and a delicious cake. Because many of our children are bussed into school, some mums never have the chance to meet others on a social basis and so this was a chance to drop off and get together. Many thanks to the PTA and to Rosie from Puddings and Pies for all her delicios cakes.

PTA Spring clean -Sat 24th April

Come along this Saturday for a school spring clean. Thanks to all those who have offered to help with a general tidy up of the school area this Saturday 24th April. The plan is to meet up at 9.30am and to keep going for as long as you can! If you have a pressure washer or paint brushes you can bring along that would be great. Probably a good idea to bring your wellies too.

Please come along if you are able to help - as they say the more the merrier.
All welcome and indeed more the merrier.
