DODGE BALL AT ST ANDREW'S
Lee Cuff came to school and we had a fun session learning some of the rules and tactics for this fast moving game.
FIREWORKS
We had fun painting these.
Visit by King Henry
We had a brilliant day when King Henry joined us for our Tudor Day. We learnt lots of interesting things and even had a jousting competition. Read some of our thoughts.
MAKING GRECIAN PEOPLE HOLDING OLYMPIC TORCHES
We have been making torches in Design Technology. Following on from our Greek humanities topic our models were based on Grecian maidens and men holding Olympic torches aloft.
Health Week
To start off Health Week Mrs Taylor Wade came in to talk to us about Occupational Therapy. We used different equipment to see what it felt like doing ordinary things when we couldn't use our bodies as well as we usually can!
Health Week
We have been making our own health week booklets
Relaxation
We practised breathing in the frog posture!
Health Week
We have been learning about different relaxation and breathing skills during Health Week
An artist called Daisy Bewes visited us and we all made rag rugs. We had a great day.
We had to weave colourful fabric onto a peg loom.
Hooke Court
We visited Hooke Court in September and enjoyed a Victorian Day. We did lots of activities including cooking, laundry, polishing and writing. We lived the life of Victorian Servants for the day!
