Books at Bedtime.
Once a year we come back into school dressed in our pyjamas and slippers to have stories read to us by our teachers.We also have hot chocolate and biscuits.This helps to raise money for new books and literacy activities.

As we served ourselves we tried to make sure we had a balanced selection of food groups.

We have talked about the different food groups and know that we must only eat a small amount of foods from the top of the triangle, but plenty from the groups lower down.

We saw Oak, Rowan, Silver Birch trees, lots of grasses,a very beautiful snail, Cow Parsley,Field Buttercups and lots more.You might like to ask your child about the Hankerchief tree we think we saw in Yetminster.

We needed lots of help to get over the style as it was so muddy.Luckily nobody fell in the mud!

We had a lovely sunny day and lots of parent helpers for our visit to the station and tea rooms in Yetminster.The children had a wonderful time. A big thank you as always to all the parents who give up their time to be involved in their children's learning and also to Mr and Mrs Powell in the tea rooms for making us feel so welcome.
