ECO DAY Tues 23rd June 2009
We had a super Eco Day learning to be Eco friendly. We all came to school wearing green and we had an Eco assembly given by Inogen Davenport from the Dorset Wildlife Trust about protecting the habitats of frogs which linked to developing habitats in our own conservation area. We all had a chance to help clear the Conservation Area during the day and we drew up some ideas as to how wanted it to look. We also started our brains working to come up with an Eco Code. During the day we participated in Art activities using recycled materials and other eco activities. We also switched off our electricity for an hour to help save our planet which we hope to become a regular activity. What a great day |
