Maths homework June 25th
This week I would like you to complete the scores for the world cup so far
Represent the number of goals scored in each group in a way that you think shows the results clearly.
Can you also present the number of goals scored by individual players effectively?
Homework 18th June
If you were a superstar and did this last week then you don't have to do any homework this weekend. Enjoy the sunshine .

This week I would like you to come up with words which have silent letters in them - either at the beginning (gnome), at the end (lamb) or in the middle (chocolate- the o is not usually pronounced- we say chocolate not choc-o-late).
Remember this is to help you with your spellings so make sure you use tricky words. As before, I will laminate good ones to use in class.
Homework May 21st
This week I would like you to choose a poem and write it out in your very best handwriting.
It can be any poem that you like apart from a really short one! It should be written on a piece of A4 paper and decorated to suit the poem subject.
Handwriting is important so make this something you feel proud of. If you have trouble finding a poem see me please.
Thank you
SPELLINGS THIS WEEK
Lots of you are still muddling your plurals (baby-babies NOT babys!!)
Please can you make a poster which is full of reminders for plural rules. I will copy and laminate any really good ones to use in class. Remember there are lots of plural rules.
Maths homework
May 14th
Make a poster to help you remember the tricky times tables
It is to help you so make it as useful as you can
(think about odds/evens)
Maths homework
April 30th
We have been finding percentages of amounts of money.
We have learnt that we can do this if we think about the fraction that is equivalent. So, to find 50 percent, we divide by two because 50 percent is the same as one half

To help you remember I would like you to make a poster (in your homework book, or on paper, or on the computer) which explains how to work out 25, 50, 10,1 percent. You can show others as well if you like.
It must explain how to work out the percentages (and the new prices if you are showing a shop sale)
Literacy Homework April 23rd
In class we will be looking at a range of traditional tales, myths, legends and fables. Please could you list a variety of these and try to read some over the next two weeks. In your book I would like a list of these types of stories along with a brief retelling of your favourite one. (Today is St George's day so you could have a look at that legend!)
Thanks

Look for your maths group- you only need to do that!

NOTE The division symbol won't come on to this website so I have had to write them as 34/2 which means 34 divided by 2. I hope it isn't too confusing.

Write a description of your planet.
Parts of this will be included in your story
I am looking for a paragraph which contains the following:-
