 We started off by making...  ..a pentagon using cocktail sticks..  ..and joining them with gumdrops.  From each gumdrop we added 2 sticks, one of each formed..  ..a triangle with the next one.  With this basic structural shape, the tower can get taller and taller..  ..like this one..  ..or you can construct several to spread the load of the ..  ..dictionary.  Some of our structures were interesting shapes..  ..with pentagons and hexagons..  ..in different places..  ..causing the structures to develop..  ..in different ways.  This is a very elaborate structure - where are all the red gumdrops!
