CLASS 5 AND MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS |

 We have been investigating musical instruments.  We designed ours so that they could be played at the Mardi Gras carnival.  We formed into bands and played our instruments.  All the instruments had to be capable to have two different sounds.  Some instruments were percussion...  ...which you can play by shaking.  Others you could blow...  ...whilst some had strings to pluck.  We decorated our insruments in the bright colours of Mardi Gras.  Mardi Gras is similar to our Shrove Tuesday. This instrument looks a bit like a didgeridoo.  The children had great fun designing...  ...making and decorating...  and finally playing them.  Some children even made two.  This is the display of our super instruments.
