Blogging in Willow ClassAs part of ICT and the literacy that Willow Class are covering in the next couple of terms, we are going to introduce the children to blogging. This involves the creation of an internet blog which you will be able to access at home to share the children's learning. They will be able to create a virtual diary which will include reports on the lection, activities, stories they have written, artwork, videos etc.
Of paramount importance of course is the children's safety on the internet and to this end the children will be given strict guidelines as approved by CEOPS (please the home page of our website for the link) and we will supervise everything that is published.
This is a fantastic experience for the children in this ever increasing digital world, giving them ownership of what they would like to put on their blog. It has also been proven that it increases their abilities in writing too. Mr Miller, Miss Coysh and Mrs Neate-Clegg will be monitoring the content of the blogs.
Enjoy our blogs which you can access from our main blog below. The children's blogs can be found on the right hand column. http://willowwarblers.primaryblogger.co.uk/
