 We spent quite a bit of time...  ...learning the different stitches we would need...  ..to sew our cushions.  Firstly we used a running stitch to..  ..neaten up each end of the dyed fabric.  We then had to work with our design ..  ..inside out and use a ..  ..strong back stitch to create ..  ..the cushion envelope.  Then to finish it off..  ..and if we were feeling..  stoic, we stitched all around the finished cushion..  ..to make it look really professional.  Our designs ranged from scorpions..  ..to tropical sea scapes..  ..waterfalls..  ..to tropical flwers..  ..and frogs..  ..sunsets..  ..to lily pads..  ..buried treasure..  ..to sunrises..  ..azure seas and  ..magenta bouganvilliea..  ..island paradises..  ..tropical splendour.  Wouldn't we like to be there on these cold winter days!
