SCULPTURE DAY WITH JEFF BODY |

 Our day began with 2 plaster plaques which Jeff had marked up...  one was a "zen" fish...  ...and the other our school logo.  jeff showed us how to use special sculpting tools..  like chisels and wifflers ...  ...and of course brushes to brush the waste away.  As the day progressed the designs started to take shape.
 It was certainly a skillful job but great fun.  Jeff showed us how to scrape away the plaster, bit by bit.  Everyone was so engrossed we don't know where the time went.  You can see the designs coming alive...  .. the air bubble were one of the trickiest... shapes to do.  ...even Mr Williams thought it was therapeutic.  Just look at our nearly finished fish..  ..amd some of the proud scupltors with Jeff and Daphne Barfoot.  At the Leavers' Assembly the finished stone plaque was presented tp Steve Williams, Headteacher, and the school.
