We have been studying .. |
 .. teeth and eating. |
We looked at sharks and other animals.. |
..to see if they were herbivores, omnivores or carnivores. |
 In our shark project.. |
 ..we made clay sharks.. |
 ..showing their teeth.. |
..sharp and ponted for .. |
 ..catching and eating fish. |
This hammerhead is a fish eater. |
Plankton eaters have no teeth. |
This is an elephant's molar. |
Some sharks have rows and rows of pointy teeth.. |
whereas mammals have differentiated teeth. |
We had a visit from Mrs Barfoot.. |
..who is a dental hygienist. |
She taught us how to clean our teeth properly.. |
..to get rid of the plaque build up. |
You need to brush your teeth for.. |
 ..at least 2 minutes. |
You can use disclosing tablets.. |
..to see the areas that we haven't cleaned.. |
..weel so that we can have anothye go. |
Look at our clean .. |
 ..and beautiful smiles. |
 |
 |
We had other visitors .. |
..which had no teeth and .. |
..use beaks to eat their food. |
 The ducklings were.. |
 ..rather gorgeous.. |
 ..and very cuddly. |
 |
 |
 Ducks in a basket. |
We then had another young visitor.. |
..look at his little teeth on his bottom jaw only at the front. |
