..Class 5 playing the djembes and dancing. |
We the had the "Magic Drums" with.. |
..us all day teaching us how.. |
..to play allsorts of African drums. |
Each class took it in turns.. |
..to learn the "call and response" and.. |
..differnt African rhthyms.. |
..which we all greatly enjoyed. |
We all sat in a huge circle.. |
..and had a drum or a percussion.. |
..instrument to play, and we all had a chance.. |
..to make up our own rhthym. |
We used a large ball to help know when to drum.. |
..each time the ball hot the floor.. |
..we let rip. |
We then introduced.. |
..a third instrument, the bells.. |
..as well as swaying sideways to the beat. |
We could then use the hoops to sya which instrument should be played. |
