 We have learnt about the Baobab tree and have touched a real seed pod from the tree.  We have learnt about the different animals you would see on a safari and have made our own safari bus.  We have been learning how to make..  ..Adinkra stamps..  Each shape has a different meaning.  We used potatoes to make the stamps.  We have also made Tutsi baskets..  ..and Ndbele beads from..  ..rolled up paper.  Learning to play the drums.  When to play.  When not to play.  How to conduct.  The Awongalema tree.  Anansi the spider.  The giant was stamping around.  We played the instruments.  The magician put a spell on the giant.  We were very good at being in role.  Dance. Looking for Handa's hen.  Feeding the hens.  Flapping our wings.  We collected the produce from our garden.  Look how big our courgette has grown.  We chopped our vegetables.  Class 3 helped us.  We listened to the Gryphon school choir.  The recorders and band.  We ate our African feast.  Reception made the couscous.  Class 3 made the fruit salad.
