Dear Parents,

Fond Farewell

I would like to inform you that Carol Watkinson Class 3 teacher will be leaving us at Christmas. Carol has worked with us for over 8 years and has always provided excellent support for the many children who have been in her classes. We will all miss her very much and wish her great happiness and good health in the future.
If you would like to make a donation towards a small gift for Carol then please send in money in an envelope marked CW.

Class 3

Preparation for appointing a new teacher for class 3 is already underway. I can assure all parents of children in this class that Mrs. Watkinson's successor will provide a smooth transition for all, and that the individual needs of the children will be of the highest priority.
I hope to confirm the appointment by early December providing opportunity for smooth hand over arrangements.

Thank you

A huge thank you to the Barfoots Bouncers for donating the use of the bouncy castles for the PTA sponsored bounce. Thank you all for taking part. Please send in any outstanding money a.s.a.p. We will shortly let you know the total, which is to go towards outdoor play equipment.

Parents evenings

Anyone who has not yet made an appointment please contact the school office.

PTA Christmas Fair

On Friday 26th November between 6.00 and 9.00pm. Come and meet Santa and have fun on the stalls.

Open morning

On Thursday 25th November between 9.30am and 11.30 the school is having an Open morning for everybody but especially for any children who maybe starting school in September 2005.

Bad Weather Arrangements

In the event of the school closure due to bad weather etc. please listen to Orchard FM. A bad weather phone tree list will be following shortly.

Head Lice

Head Lice are once again causing problems throughout the school, please check heads carefully.

Photographs

On Wednesday 17th November between 3.00 and 4.00pm at the Wriggle Valley Playgroup.

School Nurse

The school nurse will be here at 2.30pm on Tuesday 30th November, if anyone would like to come along and discuss issues relating to their own children.

Life Education Van

The Life Education Van will be visiting the school during the first week in December. A separate letter will follow shortly.

Dates for Diary

Last Wednesday Club is on Wednesday 1st December.
Christmas plays 7th, 8th and 9th December.
Children's party lunch17th December. Children in Reception Class are invited for the whole day.
