Inset Day

Please note that Friday 30th March is an Inset day - we return to school on Monday 16th April 2007 after the Easter break.

Red Nose Day

Everyone made a huge effort to raise money for Comic Relief on Red Nose Day. Class 6 put together different fund raising stalls at break time which included the sale of cakes and comics. The Year 5 children at Leeson House raised £56 with a cake sale. Both Robert and Charlie Class 6 embarked on a sponsored silence (which was bliss!!) and raised £42. Well done to everyone for helping to raise a whopping
£303.86.

Practice-a-thon

Well done to all the musicians for taking part and raising money for children with cancer and their families.

Fund Raising

A link has been set up from our web site to enable you to buy St Andrew's School uniform and indeed do your Tesco shop (amongst other things) via our web site which will in turn raise money for the school with every purchase. A limited stock of uniform will be kept at school just to show you the quality of the garments and there will be a postal order form available for anyone who is not on- line. Transporting children for School Activities

From the beginning of the summer term any parent or member of staff transporting children to or from an event or activity will be required to complete a form relating to the roadworthiness of their vehicle and other legal requirements. You will appreciate that this is an important next step in ensuring the well-being of all our pupils. A copy of the form can be viewed in the School Office.

We are very sorry to be saying goodbye to Nicola Berry and our very best wishes go to her and her husband as they open their new shop 'The Rusty Rake' in Sherborne.
