Dear Parents,

Big Thank you to PTA

The school would like to thank the P.T.A. for a wonderful Christmas Fair; a special thank you to Dawn Perry for her tireless efforts and to Vicky Brinsford on her first Christmas Fair as Chairperson. To everyone else who helped or came along and enjoyed the evening we thank you and wish you a very merry Christmas.

Big Thank you to Oak House Stores

We also owe many thanks to George (who sold kisses to old ladies) and the whole Cupper family for raising money for the school by holding a 'Fun Day' at Oak House Stores. They raised a massive £426.91.

Carol Singing

Everyone enjoyed the carol singing around Yetminster which raised £66.07 in aid of Shelter - Thank you.

Cinderella

On Monday 18th December is the trip to the Octagon Theatre in Yeovil. The coaches will leave school from 1.30pm and not arrive back again until 5.30pm. Please park considerably when waiting as the four coaches have to get back in to drop off.

Christmas Party Lunch - Wednesday 20th December.

The school party takes the form of a party lunch followed by entertainment in the afternoon. All staff and children have lunch together and the school provides the food so there is no need to send your child with a packed meal. Reception children, who are normally morning only are also invited to stay for lunch and for the rest of the afternoon - please let Mrs Payne know your wishes and make arrangement for their journey home at 3.15pm. We would appreciate a donation of £2 per child towards the cost of the lunch and entertainment. (Please place money in an envelope with child's name and return to school).
Don't forget party clothes so that you can change after the church service.

Reception Lunches

We will be delighted to welcome our Reception children to lunch on Monday 18th December for Cinderella and Christmas party lunch on Wednesday 20th December, but parents must confirm with school office if their children are to travel home from school on the bus.

End of Term Church Service

This special Christmas service will take place on Wednesday 20th December and will mark the last day of the Autumn Term. You are very welcome to join us at 9.30am at St Andrew's Church.
Crib Service - St. Andrew's Church - Christmas Eve at 4.30pm
Bring a Golden Bauble and help raise money for - Julia's House - The Dorset Children's Hospice.
(Baubles only £1 on the door).

Life Education Van

Any last payments towards the cost of the recent visit will be gratefully received.

Christmas Productions

Thank you for your support at the wonderful productions. Weren't the children fantastic! You donated over £300 which will be used to further the musical and drama work of the school.

Our first day back in school in the New Year is Thursday 4th January.
