Dear Parents

Since my last newsletter the governors, PTA and school have been considering the best way to improve communication between home and school. You will remember that this was the main issue we needed to resolve following our Questionnaire.

We discussed the possibility of using an emailing and/or texting service but were very aware that this has cost implications for the school and may not be popular with everyone. If in the future we were keen to go down that route, we would certainly seek your views before proceeding.

However, there was a general view that the school has a very good website which could be more frequently used to communicate important information. We appreciate that most of you have very little time and that messages need to be direct and simple to access.

We have therefore made sure that updated information is quick and easy to find in the following places;

- Newsflashes on the home page

- Weekly newsletter from Mr Miller on Fridays

- Updated PTA section

The rest of the website will still be there as before to provide you with news and pictures about the classes and events when you have the time to browse through them.

We hope this will provide you with an effective way of finding out what you need to know about the week ahead and beyond. Please email Mr Miller or me via the school to let us know how it is working.

Of course if you do not have the technology to be able to do this, paper copies are available. Please make sure via the school office that you are on the list to receive these.
