Wednesday Club has been an after-school activity since 1987 with the kind permission the Head teachers ever since then. I thought some of you might not realize what goes on at the club and therefore we would introduce ourselves! Children of every Christian denomination can join once they have reached their 6th birthday and our aim is to have fun with them but obviously share stories, songs and prayers relating to the Bible. We meet at 3.10pm each Wednesday and finish at approximately 4pm. We use the Scripture Union 'Light' series and run 3 classes, The Planets, The Followers and The Explorers. We hold an Open Afternoon towards the end of the Summer Term when we say farewell to those who are going up to Secondary School and give them something to remind them of their time with us at Wednesday Club. We also have 3 parties a year, one at Christmas and one at the end of the Summer Term - we are not only interested in sharing our faith but also showing them that having faith can be fun. If you are interested in either sending your child to us, having a further chat about what we get up to or coming to help as a volunteer, please do get in contact with me.Anne Reason (01935 873726)

Website
In addition to our Reception children our numbers have also been increased by newly arrived pupils in other year groups. Many parents contacting us about places have indicated that our website has given them a great preview of the school and its children. Mrs Bella Neate Clegg continues to work fantastically hard to coordinate and promote the high standards of this site. It now contains a wonderful, interactive school brochure and many other new features. Please use it regularly as it has back copies of newsletters and other important information and details of your child's life in school.
We aim to increasingly use the site to strengthen communication with you and to provide the community with a broad and comprehensive view of its school. There is also my email address in case you would like to contact me.

Photograph permission
During the school year we would like to take some photographs of the children enjoying school life. The photographs would be mainly groups of children but if of individual children would not be close up shots and names would not be published. The photographs may then be used on our website or in newspapers where appropriate. If you would prefer this not to happen please let me know in writing.
'Early Arrivers'
Our 'Early Arrivers' Club is being run as fantastically as ever by Angela Hole and Daphne Blakey. Children can arrive no earlier than 7.30 a.m.Pupils arriving between 7.30 am and 8.15 am will enter the school through the main school entrance and go directly to the Hall to be greeted by supervisory staff. Parents or guardians must accompany them into school and hand them directly into the care of 'Early Arrivers' staff' who will register them.
For further details please contact the school office.
