Dear Parents,

New staff

I am very pleased to tell you that the governors have made two new teaching appointments for September 2009.

Miss Stacey Coysh will be joining us from Devon and will be teaching Class 6 next year. Stacey started her career in Slough before moving to work in schools in Exeter and Tiverton. She has already met the children on two occasions and looks forward to meeting parents during the summer to plan for next year.

Mr Terry Higson-Guy is a newly qualified teacher and will be responsible for another Key Stage 2 class. Terry is a mathematician and scientist and also a qualified FA coach. His work across many sporting areas will be greatly valued. He, too, has visited since interview and looks forward to 'getting to know us' during this term.

The class structure for next year is currently being considered and I look forward to letting you know the detail soon after half term.
