Activities Gallery | Special Events | Children's Work

Digging in the boxes was great fun. I enjoyed working with my friends.
Tasia
It was incredibly exciting putting the pots together and taking them apart again.
Jordan
It was excellent because there were lots of interesting things like bones and pottery.
Tom
It was very interesting learning about archaeology.
My favourite part was when we had to rebuild the pots and plates with masking tape.
Katherine
It was fabulous making the pots and plates from all the broken bits.
Craig
It was really interesting to see what all the bones were like. You can tell if it is a bit of pot because it is often glazed on one side.
Amy
I liked finding the artefacts and trying to guess what they were. I liked sticking the china together- but it kept falling apart! Leon
It was really fascinating because you got to know what adults' jobs were like, and you got to find out what animals could die of in the past.
