OLYMPIC TORCHES

We have been investigating torches in DT. Following on from our Ancient Greek topic we have designed and made Grecian maidens and men holding the Olympic torch aloft.
We have continued to work hard on our roundhouse project this year. Many thanks to the PTA for continuing to support this.
We finished the fence in the roundhouse enclosure
We wanted to make a chalk mixture to protect the daub. We had to smash the chalk first and mix it with water.
After mixing we applied the chalk mixture to the daub using big brushes.
We made an iron age bread oven
We made collages of Indian Fruits
We celebrated diwali and made rangoli cards
