AFRICAN ARTS WEEK MOSAIC We have had a week full of fun activities. Books at Bedtime Reception, Year 1 and 2 had a fun 'Books at Bedtime' evening. We loved listening to stories in our classrooms. Even the teachers came dressed in their night attire! The hot chocolate and marshmallows were delicious! Our teddies enjoyed listening as well! Toys from the past. As part of our history topic, we held a Victorian day. We really enjoyed dressing up! Our role play area was a Victorian Nursery. We played lots of circle games, just as Victorian children would have! We played with some Victorian toys. New shared reading area As part of our reading developments, a new shared reading area has been established in our Key Stage One classrooms.
