What a lovely way to spend an evening! Thank you to all the staff involved and to the children of our Early Years' classes.
World Book Day was celebrated in many different ways at the school. Our very youngest children had a real 'ball' as their favourite story book characters.
The children had an enjoyable day at Corfe castle and had opportunities to dress in clothes from the past.
The wonderful soloists and strong choir singing was absolutely great. All the parents and staff enjoyed it so much.
We were represented at the Remembrance Day Service by six Yr6 children whilst all the other pupils and staff observed a two minutes silence.
In the summer term the whole school undertook an art week where we looked at art from around the world. One of the projects undertaken was to produce this wonderful animal alphabet. The children painted the animals in Celtic, aboriginal, cave and Japanese styles. The frieze can be viewed in our library.
All the parents and friends commented how wonderful all the children had been. Here are some photos of the characters in costume.
