Searching for various plants on the heath.
The heath was damaged by arsonists four years ago. It can take up to seven years for the land to recover.
View across the heathland.
There are three types of heather- ling, bell and cross leaf.
It was a bit damp when we set off.
Hoods up, ready to explore.
Off on our explorations.
Gorse:pretty but VERY spiky.
We saw lots of these spider webs.
